Java and Jazz for Cinco de Mayo

Bill Carter, bassist Tony Marino, and violinist Mark Woodyatt offer up a festive evening of jazz. To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, they will feature the Latin music of Chick Corea. Wear a celebrative outfit and a big floppy hat!

This project was supported by a Lackawanna County Community Arts and Culture Grant, a program of Lackawanna County Commissioners. Thanks to this grant, the event is free and open to the public.

We introduce a new iteration of our band: The Blue Note Band, presenting music from the Blue Note record label tradition. With Jeff Stockham on trumpet, Mike Carbone on tenor sax, Tony Marino on bass, Tyler Dempsey on drums, and Bill Carter on piano. The event is free and open to the public.
