Bill Carter and Presbybop Music

Bill Carter and the Presbybop Quartet, with bassist Tony Marino, saxophonist Mike Carbone, and drummer Tyler Dempsey, offer up smoking jazz on a frigid night with an evening of original and classic jazz compositions. In this informal setting, the musicians create what leader Bill Carter calls “chamber music in motion.” Expect an interplay of melody and rhythm as the group provides music that is contemplative, improvisational, and deeply human.    Tickets are $18 at the door. Free parking, including accessible parking, is available in the parking lot adjacent to the church.
